Challenge

Owens & Minor University aimed to support the Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) in offering the Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) certification. The challenge was to develop and implement a comprehensive online course and certification process within the Learning Management System (LMS) to streamline registration, learning, and certification for AHVAP members.

Action

To address this challenge, I led the technical development and implementation of the CVAHP certification course. Key actions included:

  • Technical Development Leadership: Collaborated with AHVAP to design and develop the course content, ensuring it met the high standards required for the CVAHP certification.
  • LMS Configuration: Configured the Owens & Minor University LMS to allow AHVAP learners to easily register for the CVAHP certification course. This involved setting up user-friendly interfaces and seamless registration processes.
  • Course Delivery: Developed the online course within the LMS, incorporating interactive elements, assessments, and resources to enhance the learning experience for AHVAP members.
  • Certificate Creation: Designed and created the final certificate template awarded to learners upon successful completion of the course, ensuring it reflected the prestige and value of the CVAHP certification.
