Challenge

New Law Business Model was facing significant inefficiencies due to the presence of disparate and duplicative systems, each holding unique information about members. This fragmentation led to manual, time-consuming reporting processes and challenges in maintaining a single source of truth for member data. The goal was to consolidate these systems into one unified platform to streamline operations, automate reporting, and enhance data accuracy.

Action

To address this challenge, I developed and executed a comprehensive platform consolidation plan. Key actions included:

  • Assessment of Current Systems: Conducted a thorough assessment of all existing systems, identifying overlaps, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engaged with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and pain points, ensuring the consolidation plan met the needs of all departments.
  • Consolidation Strategy Development:Developed a detailed consolidation strategy, selecting the most suitable platforms to serve as the unified system of truth. This strategy included the following transitions:
    • Sunset Systems: Identified systems to be phased out, including Pipedrive, Acuity Scheduling, MailChimp, ZenDesk, and others.
    • Sunrise Systems: Selected systems for consolidation, including HubSpot, Happeo, vNext LMS, Jira, and Microsoft 365.
  • Automation of Reporting: Designed and implemented automated reporting processes to replace manual efforts, leveraging the capabilities of the consolidated platform.
  • Data Migration and Integration: Planned and executed the migration of data from multiple systems into the selected platforms, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the process.
  • Training and Support: Provided comprehensive training and support to team members to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure they were proficient in using the new consolidated platform.
